ST MARK BASKETBALL

GIRLS VARSITY
2006 CYO NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONS!
 The St. Mark Girls Varsity Basketball team (8th grade and under) won the
2006 New England Regional CYO Championship which was held the weekend of April 1st in Boston, MA.
The St. Mark team defeated Immaculate Conception of Manchester, NH and St. Mary of Norwich, CT
to move into the finals, where they defeated Corpus Christi of the Hartford, CT Diocese 40-34.
This is the first ever St. Mark team, and the first team from the Bridgeport Diocese to win the New England Championship
in the very competitive Parish Division.
